Day Supervisor ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Cleaning, sanitizing, and preparing ALL production equipment and production rooms for use and operation in Production.
Cleaning production machinery, equipment and rooms is the primary job function of this role.
Cleaning assignments to include, but not limited to outside perimeter, front office, break room, hallway, and bathrooms.
Maintain warehouse interior by washing, sweeping, vacuuming, scrubbing, picking up trash and strapping materials.
Remove trash by emptying trash containers/dumpsters and transporting to disposal area.
Clean behind containers/dumpsters.
Maintain cleaning inventory by checking stock level and anticipating cleaning equipment replacement.
Keep cleaning equipment operational by following manufacturer's operating care and guidelines.
Ensure continuity between shifts by documenting cleaning actions and noting areas requiring additional care.
Communicate with management on a daily basis.
REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
Must wear PPE (hair/beard net, lab coat, steel toes) Prepare for and participate in State and Federal inspections.
Must work safely at all times and comply with all safety policies Adhere to all current food safety and food quality requirements.
Report concerns regarding food safety or food quality to their manager.
Comply with SOP's and GMP's.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS - Must be able to perform the following functions with or without accommodations:
Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling.
The job is performed under occasional temperature variations and in a food manufacturing production environment.
Unrestricted visual and audio abilities are required for the safety of all employees.
The ability to lift to 50 lbs.
